KSU Yosakoi Dance Club
Bay Area - Update

Welcome Bay Area Wildcats!

The K-State Bay Area Alumni Club, CaliforniaCats, invites you to participate in our web site and join in the activities of our club.

This site will provide you with Alumni information and keep you up to date with the local chapter's events such as Wildcat Watch Parties and other exciting activities. Our organization enables you to keep in touch with the pulse of K-State and meeting new and old friends alike. I'm looking forward to meeting all 2,500 of you, making the
CaliforniaCats one of the most active clubs in the country!

The first venue is at the Japanese Community and Cultural Center 1:00 to 3:00 pm on Saturday, April 20th. The team will perform at 1:45, plus after the group performance, they will have collaborative dances with the other Yosakoi groups performing.

The second venue is the main stage in the Peace Plaza from 3:30 to 5:30 on Sunday, April 21st. They will perform at 4:15, and again collaborative dances after that.

It is the biggest event for Japantown each year and the team will participate in a parade. They are 35th in the line up, but all the Yosakoi groups will be marching together. K-State’s team will be quite visible though, wearing our purple Powercat Happi costumes!
